Do health and essential oils mix....you bet! I attended several classes a number of years ago on essential oils. I absolutely love them.....I became interested when body wrapping first became popular. What is body wrapping...it is basically a process that helps to drain your lymphatic system or detox your body. This detox will also rid your body of excess fluids which will result in inch loss. Anyway....essential oils are a great way to give yourself a boost mentally or they can be used for home remedies. The oils are effective because the absorption is quick and easy. Essential oils enter your bloodstream through small capillaries and can have an effect on the nervous system and lymphatic systems. It is shown through studies that after a body massage the essential oils used are detectable in your blood for the first 20 minutes after the massage and become undetectable after 90 minutes. You can test this out at home for yourself by rubbing garlic on your feet and after the absorption takes place you will be able to smell it on your breath. Be sure to research oils before you start to use them. I have a lot of favorite oils and the one I have been using most recently which is helping with some age spots I have on my face is tea tree oil. Another oil good for this time of year is eucalyptus which is a potent antiviral, antibacterial, decongestant to help with sinus, throat, fever and flu symptoms. You can find it in products like vapor rubs. Educate yourself before you use essential oils for your health.
